Protecting everyday work
The backup work covers choosing what to protect, keeping it on a schedule and making efficient use of storage. I’m interested in the whole journey, from a file changing on a computer to someone finding the version they need when something goes wrong.
Understanding a device
I’ve also worked on gathering information about a computer’s health, installed software and security events. This gives the person looking after it a clearer picture of what is there and what might need attention.
Remote management connects that information to practical support, helping someone investigate a problem and carry out work on the affected device.
Part of a wider picture
Wolf Guard brings this device information together with security and recovery work. Developing the agents lets me work on both sides: the activity on an individual computer and the view needed by the team responsible for many of them.
